A Lori Weitzner Design

Majolica takes its name from the bright-colored earthenware crafted on the Spanish island of Majorca. Majolica pottery is a three-stage technique: an opaque, white tin glaze surface is decorated with bright designs and topped with a transparent glaze. Pallas’ Majolica sports a very usable and durable horizontal stripe in the colors of Spain: from vibrant reds, oranges and cobalts, to water greens and blues, to the colors of the land – moss, ocher, mustard and earth tones. Iridescent and metallic threads enliven its nine colorways.

Abrasion resistance is the surface wear of a fabric caused by rubbing and contact with another fabric.

Flame resistance is the measurement of a fabric's performance when it is exposed to specific sources of ignition.

Crocking is the transfer of dye from the surface of a dyed or printed fabric onto another surface by rubbing.

Seam slippage is the movement of
yarns in a fabric that occurs when it is pulled apart at a seam.

Colorfastness to light refers to a material's degree of resistance to the fading effect of light.

Due to monitor calibration differences and space limitations the color and/or repeat (if applicable) may not be truly represented. Please order a sample for a more true representation of the finished piece.
